Saving Energy And Costs With Standard-Compliant Heating Water

The quality of the heating water is decisive!
The Alpenland professional recommendation:

The normal life cycle and warranty of heating systems is only provided with professionally treated heating water. Modern heating systems contain the latest technology, which ensures pleasant warmth and low energy costs. But only if the technology works. For that the quality of the heating water is decisive. Only perfectly treated water can transfer heat efficiently without damaging the materials and technology.
Even deposits of 1 mm in the pipe system increase the energy costs by 15% per year.
Not to mention the higher costs for repairs and maintenance.

Using raw water for the heating system is similar to using salad oil to drive your new Porsche.
To avoid high costs down the road, it is a good investment  to clean the pipe systems and fill it with treated heating water. These measures help to save money over the life cycle of the heating system.

Corrosion and stone formation cause more than half of all complaints in modern heating systems.
Heat exchangers, blocked pumps, defective valves, clogged pipes cause trouble and stress for the customer, specialists and the manufacturer.

Safety based on VDI 2035 standard

According to VDI 2035 (or Ö-Norm H5195-1 in Austria), drinking water is not suitable for filling HVAC systems. Therefore, it is also unsuitable for filling combined heat and power and biogas
facilities. Unfortunately, many plant operators are unaware of the values recommended in accordance with technical standards and the type of treatment their filling water requires or are simply overwhelmed. Although simple tap water is cheap and available everywhere,
it predominantly includes materials that swiftly cause considerable damage within complex and above all sensitive conjunctions of materials such as those found in most plumbing and
heating systems. Corrosion and calcification cause more than half of all problems in modern heating systems. Clogged heat exchangers, pumps, and pipes as well as defective valves, cause problems and stress for customers, specialist companies and manufacturers.
The result can be prolonged production losses at which time good advice becomes expensive due to the closed circuits involved which make rapid fault analyses extremely complex and costly.
The consequences of improper water treatment:

Standard-compliant raw material usage: avoid contamination to prevent high rehabilitation costs!

The HVAC system must be optimally prepared for filling. Dirt and impurities (foreign particles) are significant corrosion factors, which means that any introduction of impurities into the HVAC system must be avoided. Appropriate precautions must be taken as early as during the plant planning stage.

Among other things, this is achieved by the use of clean and standard-compliant pipework materials (free of loose scale, rust, internal burrs and impurities), fittings and equipment (boilers, heat exchangers, radiators, convectors, expansion vessels, etc.) as well as by flawless production (with no weld beads, sealant or flux residues, burrs, swarf, etc.). It is necessary to clean all components of a heating system thoroughly prior to installation.
